Introduction

Welcome to the website of the EYEFUL project (Multisensory analysis of human activity for the diagnosis and early detection of functional limitations), with reference PID2020-113118RB-C31/C33 funded by funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 in the 2020 funding call to R+D+i projects "Research Challenges" of the national R+D+i program oriented to the challenges of society.

EYEFUL is a coordinated project, composed of two subprojects:

The overall objective of the EYEFUL project focuses on the clinical assessment of the degree of functional limitation of individuals through automated analysis of the performance of Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).  The objective of the project is to develop a methodology to design, implement and evaluate automated clinical tests of functional limitation, which give objective assessments with clinical validity, and eliminate the interference in test performance caused by the physical presence of the evaluator. The subjectivity of the human evaluator will be replaced by an automatic system that extracts multimodal (i.e., multisensory) information from the environment during the functional assessment of the user.
