Introduction
Welcome to the Web site of the SPACES project (Human Behaviour Supervision using Multiple Sensors), supported by the Spanish MInistry of Economy and Competitiviness in the 2013 Call for proposals of R+D+i projects, under the national program of R+D+i oriented to society challenges.
SPACES is a coordinated project, composed of two subprojects:
- SPACES-UAH, carried out by the GEINTRA research Group of the Department of Electronics in the Universidad de Alcalá.
- SPACES-UPM, carried out in PCR Research Group of the Department of Artificial Intelligence the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
The main objective of the project is developing technologies and multimodal signal processing algorithms for the recognition of human activity and the extraction of visual attributes in environments equipped with multiple sensors.
